Too Many Critics

Action Against Hunger's Too Many Critics events returned to London and Manchester in 2015.

This year’s Manchester evening was held at the award-winning and renowned steak house Hawksmoor and this year’s London event was held at the unique Merchants Tavern. On the night we turned the tables on a team of food critics, who swap their pens for pans to cook a three course dinner for a room full of chefs and food industry professionals.

This year’s Too Many Critics events included top critics and chefs from across the UK. Previous critics have included Charles Campion (The London Evening Standard), Andy Cronshaw (Manchester Evening News), Bill Knott (The Financial Times), Lucas Hollweg (The Sunday Times), Tracey MacLeod (The Independent), Lisa Markwell (The Independent) and Ruth Allen (Taste of Manchester).

Previously, the critic’s unique meals have been judged by famous UK chefs, including Lisa Allen (Northcote Manor), Frances Atkins (The Yorke Arms), Daniel Doherty (Duck & Waffle), Jose Pizarro (Pizarro) and Gizzi Erskine.
